The DASCIN AAP Application Process Explained

Becoming a DASCIN Academic Partner (AAP) is a structured process designed to uphold the highest standards of Data Science education.

The partnership process includes key steps, from submitting an application to integrating DASCIN’s industry-recognized curriculum into academic programs.

Each step ensures that institutions provide high-quality, up-to-date training, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the evolving field of Data Science.

DASCIN Academic Partner

Step 1 - Check for Academic Eligibility

To begin the process, your institution must verify its eligibility to become an Accredited Academic Partner (AAP). The DASCIN AAP program is available to universities, colleges, and other academic institutions that have been officially recognized by their respective national accreditation bodies. Institutions that already hold accreditation from APMG International or similar globally recognized organizations may qualify for fast-track approval.

To determine eligibility, institutions should assess:

  • Their accreditation status with a recognized national or international body.
  • Their ability to deliver high-quality education in Data Science, AI, and related disciplines.
  • Their commitment to integrating DASCIN’s certification programs into their academic offerings.

Step 2 - Assign a Lead Instructor or Professor

Each AAP must designate at least one faculty member who will serve as the primary instructor and point of contact for the program. This individual will be responsible for:

  • Delivering DASCIN-accredited training within the institution.
  • Overseeing the integration of DASCIN courses into the existing curriculum.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between DASCIN and the academic institution.

The selected instructor should have experience in Data Science, AI, or a related field, along with strong teaching capabilities. DASCIN provides training and certification support to help instructors meet program requirements.

Step 3 - Sign the Accredited Academic Partner Agreement

Once eligibility is confirmed and a lead instructor has been designated, the institution must sign the DASCIN Accredited Academic Partner Agreement. This agreement outlines:

  • The responsibilities of both the institution and DASCIN.
  • The terms of use for official DASCIN course materials and branding.
  • The guidelines for student certification, assessments, and exam delivery.
